How priest’s hand got injured by dialysis machine at St Francis Hospital Nsambya

“I told the doctor it was too painful, but he told me to be strong and that the pain was a sign that I was getting healed,” Kirunda says. “The doctor started fumbling with the machine. He tried to switch it off, but it failed,” he recalls. Fearing for his life, Kirunda says he pulled himself away from the machine. By then, his hand had already begun swelling, and wounds were emerging. “I knew my hand would be cut off because of what had happened,” he says.
