Masaza Cup teams have embarked on the recruitment of players after most of them confirmed tacticians for their sides.
Only Busiro FC has yet to confirm its technical bench. Bulemeezi FC recently confirmed Paul Nkata as a tactician.
Nkata is slated to be unveiled by Bulemeezi FC on Wednesday as they prepare for the opening game of the tournament in June with a soon-to-be-known opponent.
They are now preparing for the mouth-watering season in a quest to defend the title they won last season.
Nkata being part of the technical bench that won the Masaza title last season is banking on George Masembe, Mansoor Angaur, Amur Mugonera, Abdul Malik, AND Isaac Ssebunya to lead the side to victory.
Buwekula FC has the most experienced technical bench in recent times headed by Felix Ssekabuuza as head coach, Ssozzi Nono as his assistant, and Ibrahim Kirya as technical director.
Mawokota contracted Steven Bogere, Ssingo FC did sign Simon Peter Mugerwa, Buddu is with Simon Ddungu and Gomba FC has Frank Mulindwa as head coach and Edward Golola as technical director.
Ssekabuuza fresh from winning the National Secondary School's football championships in Masaka with St Juliana High School will be tasked to unleash young hungry players for Buwekula as his best-known to favour talented school-going footballers in each of the teams he has coached.
“I am here to win and will continue using the same approach to the game of being attack-minded, using young talented players to enable Buwekula to clinch their first title,” Ssekabuuza noted.
Ssekabuuza s technical bench is also rich in experience like Kirya whose coaching ability is undoubted from the Masaza level to the top-flight football level which Ssekabuuza boosts.
