“I don’t want to hear corruption in Parliament because if there’s corruption in Parliament, how will you control the other people? When you say you are in oversight, if you, the oversight, are also sick, who will carry out oversight on you? It will kill Uganda. This is suicide, it must not be there,” Museveni said.

Museveni reminded the MPs-elect about how he ordered the arrest of some MPs accused of corruption, citing Lwengo District Woman MP Cissy Namujju, who he said was now avoiding him.
