The King Kong Live in The City concert took place on Friday,  January 26, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, marking a monumental celebration of Fik Fameica’s musical prowess and a night of pure entertainment for his dedicated fans and Fameicans.

The show kicked off with electrifying performances from musicians such as Dax Vibes, Levixone, Kid Dee, and Benti Boys, setting the stage for an unforgettable musical experience.

The concert was expertly hosted by MCs from various media houses, including the dynamic presence of Hanz MC, Ticha Ticha Kawuki, and Kheem GK, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

Fik Fameica took the stage at 1:00pm, following an exhilarating introduction performance by Wembly Mo Foundation.

Dressed in a striking full black outfit, he mesmerised the audience with a stellar first session, delivering captivating renditions of hit songs like Lov Lo, Mbega We Bala, Sitoma, Mpakasa, Teacher featuring Ykee Benda,  Omu Bwati, My Guy and Buligita.

After an interlude featuring performances from Vyroota, Victor Ruz, and others, Fik Fameica returned for his second session adorned in eye-catching purple and silver attire.

Fameica showcased his versatility by performing collaborative hits such as Kakima featuring Wembly Mo, Born To Win, Gwe Abisobola, Tubikole featuring Vinka, before graciously making way for Vinka to command the stage with her chart-topping hits including All Over You and Bailando.

In his third session, Fik Fameica delivered a high-energy performance, treating the audience to an array of crowd-favorite tracks such as Champion, Kutama, Property, Majje featuring Azawi, Mafia featuring Navio, culminating in a show-stopping collaboration with Sheebah Karungi on their hit track Bwe Paba.

Despite the electrifying performances, the show regrettably had to be cut short due to time constraints, as Fik Fameica had taken the stage later than planned.

The production of the concert, from sound to stage, was lauded for its top-notch quality and seamless execution, enhancing the overall experience for the audience.

Noteworthy attendees included celebrities like Mesach Semakula, Judith Heard, and Spice Diana. However, the turnout for the event was lower than expected, with attendance figures notably below those of Fik Fameica's previous concert at Hotel Africana despite change in venue.

This concert marked Fik Fameica's concerts under his own brand as a musician, supported by the sponsorship of Bukedde TV.

While the evening was filled with exceptional performances and unforgettable moments, the lower-than-anticipated attendance did not diminish the electric atmosphere and the undeniable talent displayed by Fik Fameica and his fellow artists, making it a night to remember for all who were present.
