Late last year, Fik Fameica was left disappointed after fellow singer David Lutalo announced a date for his concert just 24 hours after his.

Fameica was the first to announce his concert King Kong Live In The City scheduled to take place on January 26, 2024 months earlier. Then Lutalo who had just held a successful Nalongo concert in September ambushed him with his Babongote concert set for January 27, 2024.

Fameica, out of panic, confirmed he reached out to Lutalo after getting a whiff of the development, which the Nalongo singer confirmed.

However, the tension has been diffused after the two appeared on a local television station together this week and expressed support for each other.

Fameica said they are on good terms, he supports Lutalo and plans to make music with him.

“We are very good. I have been in touch with David, talking. We even have a plan of giving you music. He is my brother. I love him and I support his music. There is no problem.”

Lutalo, on his part, said they figured there is no reason two talented people should clash.  

“There was some tension at the start but there is talent that should not be destroyed. We as the talented, Fik and I have nothing to get from the tension.”
