Vision Group hosted a panel of executives to share their thoughts on Uganda's national budget FY 2025/26, which was presented by Finance Minister, Matia Kasaija, at Kololo ceremonial grounds on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Kasaija read the sh72.376 trillion budget for the next FY 2025/26 in the presence of President Yoweri Museveni, the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, maama Janet Museveni, Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, government officials and MPs who were present.
A cross-section of sector leaders included Fred Muhumuza, principal researcher at Development Policy International, Damali Ssali, the country manager GAIN Uganda, and Julius Mukunda, ED Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group, among others. Vision Group Deputy Managing Director, Gervase Ndyanabo, chaired the discussions.
