The Regional papers were closed at the height of Covid 19 pandemic before the end of the current Financial Year (FY).

New Vision Printing and Publishing Company Limited has appealed to Parliament to fast track the release of sh2.9b which was appropriated to New Vision to revamp regional newspapers.
