Ugandan entrepreneurs meet Zambian President Hichilema in Lusaka

The deputy secretary general of the Uganda's ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, Rose Namayanja-Nsereko, on Tuesday led a delegation of Ugandan entrepreneurs to Zambia's capital Lusaka, where they met President Hakainde Hichilema.

The delegation featured a diverse mix of investors, including millers, educationists, commercial poultry and goat farmers, construction players, and industrialists — reflecting Uganda’s growing appetite for regional expansion.

President Hichilema warmly received the group and reaffirmed Zambia’s commitment to supporting their ventures, pledging a conducive investment environment to boost intra-African trade and collaboration.
