Two-year-old girl kidnapped, killed

The Police said Muhumuza confessed to the crime and led detectives to a maize garden in Kyetume-Gayaza, where the child’s body was recovered. Preliminary investigations indicate that Muhumuza was under pressure to raise money for his wedding, which was scheduled for December 26 at Munyonyo. The Police also established that Muhumuza was known to the victim’s mother, having previously worked for her as a pedicurist. “Actually, Muhumuza’s residence is separated from a perimeter wall,” the Police said.
