His co-accused are: Joyce Masembe (step mother to Kirabo) and Hadijah Kennyana the house maid.

Wakiso grade1 magistrate, Happy Monica, at around 10am, mentioned the case to the accused, but she never allowed them to state any word because they are charged with a capital offence that is handled by the high court.

Lubowa raised his hand and asked magistrate Monica opportunity to talk.

“Your worship, we are accused with a murder case but one of the key suspects in outside this court, he is the one I gave a ride on my boda boda.”

He described the person as Michael Genza.  Immediately, the Wakiso police division detectives in the courtroom arrested him. Genza tried to resist but security personnel at the courts restrained him by putting handcuffs on his hands.

The Wakiso court state prosecutor, Herbert Mulemeezi, told court that the investigations on the matter are still on, and he asked for an adjournment. Monica adjourned to November 20, 2024 for mention.
