Tayebwa rejects motion to suspend Parliament sittings over Dr Besigye’s detention
Tayebwa said that the motion does not fall under the armpits of motions tabled under motions without notice and therefore cannot stand.

Parliament Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa, has rejected a motion by MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju (Kira Municipality), seeking to suspend Parliament sittings until the government commits to the
