Speaker Oulanyah meets Pastor Ssempa

PARLIAMENT | OULANYAH | SSEMPA

KAMPALA - The Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah has met Pastor Martin Ssempa who paid him a courtesy call.

Ssempa, who was accompanied by his wife Tracey Ssempa, congratulated the Speaker upon his election to the position and wished him and the 11th Parliament well.

In March this year, Ssempa was appointed as Chaplain for the Born Again Christian Faith in Parliament.

"I have the pleasure of informing you that the Parliamentary Commission granted your request to be appointed as Chaplain of the Born Again Christian Faith in the Parliament of Uganda," the former Clerk to Parliament, Jane Kibirige, wrote to Ssempa in a letter dated 31st March, 2021.

Oulanyah welcomed Ssempa to Parliament.

Ssempa is an activist and the founder of the Makerere Community Church.
