Singing sensation Sheebah Karungi captured social media attention in January and February when images surfaced showing her with a protruding belly, sparking pregnancy rumours.

Following her music battle with Cindy Sanyu in 2023, Sheebah faced criticism on social media regarding her unmarried and childless status, which deeply affected her and her fans, known as Sheebaholics.

The speculation about her pregnancy resurfaced with the photos, making some internet users to suggest that she had succumbed to societal pressure and decided to embrace motherhood. However, Sheebah clarified during a recent interview on a local TV station that her apparent pregnancy was actually due to a stomach complication, not a pregnancy.

"Like many women, I experience bloating from time to time, and unfortunately, it was mistaken for pregnancy. Why should my pregnancy status be of concern to anyone? Let's focus on my music and respect my privacy," she asserted.

Sheebah also addressed critics, stating that she is mature enough to decide when to start a family, and currently, it's not a priority as she is fully committed to her career and delivering the best for her fans.

Sheebah is scheduled to perform at Skyz Hotel on March 28, 2024, in a show titled The Skyz Exclusive featuring the D#Maestroz Band.

Regarding her attire for the event, she emphasised her determination to maintain her signature style despite occasional criticism, as it has been integral to her success over the years. Her dressing is made up of skimpy skirts and and short patras dubbed  obukete in Luganda.
