Serere byelection: NRM embarks on door-to-door campaigns

SERERE - The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has embarked on door-to-door campaigns in search of votes for the party's flag-bearer in the Serere County byelection.

While canvassing for votes for Philp Oucor on Wednesday (February 15, 2023), NRM Public relations director Emmanuel Dombo and director of mobilisation Rosemary Sseninde joined a team of supporters in a local bar in Kamusala village, Kateta sub-county to have a taste of the local brew (Ajono).

Dombo told the residents that Oucor is the only tested candidate, who is willing to serve them among those vying for the parliamentary seat.

“We know that you have challenges that need to be addressed. On February 23, please vote for the NRM candidate because he is the only direct link you have to the Government and the head of state,” Dombo said.

Dombo also explained to them some of the poverty eradication programs that the government has put in place.
