Security swoop downtown Kampala nets 30 suspects

Police have revealed that the area in the busy shopping centre has dens of gangs that smoke weed (marijuana) and also hold sessions planning to attack and easy prey mainly pedestrians, especially in the evening rush hours.

Cops from the Kampala Central Police Station (CPS), working on intelligence information, Tuesday netted over 30 suspected hardcore criminals from the famous hideouts in the Container Village in the city centre. (Police Photo)
