President intervenes in Entebbe poultry farmer's woes

In the restoration order issued on June 23, 2025, NEMA had given Lawrence Nkalubo, who owns over 40,000 chickens and 100 pigs, 21 days to put his farm right. 

Museveni has issued a directive halting the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)’s orders to restore the environment at a prominent farmer’s poultry farm in Nkumba, Wakiso district.
