The Uganda Police Force is mourning the death of retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sam Omala, who passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.
During the weekly press briefing at the Police Headquarters in Naguru, Police spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma described Omala as a "gallant officer who served this country with dedication and honour."
"I wish him eternal repose. May his soul rest in peace," Rusoke said, expressing condolences on behalf of the police leadership.
ACP Omala was renowned for his distinguished service to the Uganda Police Force during his tenure, and the force paid tribute to his significant contributions to law enforcement and national security.
