Police evicts Lubigi wetland encroachers

Some encroachers have erected mud and wattle houses in the area, with others owning gardens of crops, stretching up to 10 acres. 

The Lubigi swamp forms a belt in the northern and western parts of Kampala where most of the wastewater from Bwaise and Nateete drains.
