In another high-profile move, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP), Geoffrey Musana, who was recently promoted to his current rank, has been appointed as the Police Attaché at the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan.

Musana’s elevation and subsequent diplomatic posting highlight his continued rise within the Uganda Police Force.

Senior Commissioner of Police (SCP), Moses Sakira, has been recalled from his posting as Police Attaché at the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan and reassigned as Deputy Director in the Directorate of Research and Planning. Replacing him in South Sudan is Musana.
