New MPs speak out on their agenda

The swearing in of MPs started with the Clerk to Parliament making a declaration to commence a four-day process that will see 529 members of parliament elect take oath. 

Nakawa west MP Joel Senyonyi who was supposed to swear in on Thursday asked the clerk of parliament to be allowed to swear in today to attend to other personal issues.
