State freezes Anita Among’s accounts, her movement restricted

Security sources said Among's accounts in various banks were frozen following a high-level meeting held over the weekend involving security chiefs, the Inspectorate of Government, the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), FIA officials and President Yoweri Museveni.

Special Forces Command operatives surrounded Among’s Nakasero residence at about 3:00am on Saturday, and her security detail was disarmed as access to the home was taken over, and all movements in and out of the premises were controlled.
