Uganda High Commission in Pretoria has announced that another 32 Ugandans evacuated from South Africa will arrive at Entebbe Airport on Friday night, July 03.
A total of 400, including children, have since been " rescued" and returned home from volatile South Africa amidst xenophobic attacks against foreigners.
Officials from the Uganda High Commission, Pretoria, in a post on social media X, confirmed that the group will jet in aboard a Uganda Airlines flight No. UR711.
As the voluntary repatriation exercise continues, another group of 265 is expected home tomorrow, Saturday, July 04, to board a chartered flight.
“The Uganda High Commission in Pretoria remains committed to ensuring that every Ugandan who has requested assistance returns home safely, legally and with dignity,” reads the X post.
