Lira chairperson, speaker disagree over relocation of headquarters
In 2020, two councillors: Denis Owera of Itek sub-county and Charles Okwel of Amach dragged the district to court challenging the proposal to relocate the headquarters to the new site saying it was never discussed in the council.
