Kampala gas explosion kills two, Police blame negligence

"Preliminary reports indicate that Andrajt Baraya, an Indian and Amos, a Ugandan national, were operating an oxygen plant during their day shift when a gas cylinder exploded, resulting in their immediate deaths," Owoyesigyire said.

Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire, attributed the incident to negligence and said it led to the deaths of two individuals.
