KAMPALA - Convicted former Karamoja affairs state minister Agnes Nandutu has asked for a non-custodial sentence, citing ill health and family obligations of a single mother.
Apparing before the Anti-Corruption Court earlier today, Nandutu also apologised for her involvement in the scandal.

Justice Jane Okuo Kajuga, in a judgement delivered April 8, 2026, said there was overwhelming evidence that Nandutu dealt with the suspected stolen property. (Credit: Alfred Ochwo)
