Inside govt Bill on oil imports in Uganda

If approved, the Bill will end Uganda's reliance on Kenya's open tender system and give UNOC a mandate to be the sole supplier of fuel in Uganda.

Government has tabled in Parliament a Bill that empowers UNOC to be the supplier of all imports to the licensed oil marketing companies of petroleum products in the country.
