Govt appoints national personal data protection director

Stella Alibateesa was appointed the National Director of the Personal Data Protection Office, and her cardinal role will be protecting personal data in the country.

Alibateesa has been a practicing advocate for 25 years with a wealth of experience and knowledge in various areas, including in the legal and regulatory environment in the private and public sector.
