Ex-Equity Bank ED to appear in court over sh62b fraud

Onyango, who superintended over some of the day-to-day affairs of the bank,  was arrested on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from a hideout in the Kampala city suburbs.So far, five employees of Equity Bank have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the bank of shillings 62 billion.
