As the Harvest Money Expo entered its second day, one section of the grounds roared with the sound of engines and opportunity.

At the 10th edition of the expo organised by the Vision Group, Engsol Engineering Solutions (ENGSOL) is using the platform not only to exhibit machinery, but to teach Ugandan farmers how mechanisation can transform their productivity.

As the company marks 25 years of service, it has chosen the Expo as the perfect classroom to demonstrate why farm mechanisation is no longer optional for serious agribusiness.

Victor Gaweera Wangobo, a sales agricultural engineer at Engsol Engineering Solutions, says their participation is focused on education, access and affordability.

“At this expo, we have brought a full range of tractors, from the smallest horsepower suitable for smallholder farmers to heavy-duty machines for large-scale commercial farming,” he explained.

ENGSOL has displayed matching implements that complete the farming cycle. These include ploughs for land preparation, harrows for soil refinement, planters for precision seeding, boom sprayers for efficient crop protection and trailers for transportation. Mechanisation is not just about owning a tractor, it is about using the right implement at the right time to improve yields and reduce labour costs.

At the stand, Wangobo explains that farmers are discovering globally trusted tractor brands supplied by ENGSOL; including TAFE, Massey Ferguson, Case and New Holland, known for durability and performance. By offering a wide horsepower range, the company ensures that both emerging and established farmers find equipment that matches their scale of operation.

Beyond display, Engsol is engaging farmers directly. Demonstrations and technical explanations help visitors understand how timely planting, spraying and harvesting can increase output and profits.

According to Wangobo, many farmers lose money due to delayed land preparation or inefficient planting methods, gaps that mechanisation can solve.

To make the opportunity more practical, ENGSOL is offering special expo discounts, enabling farmers to invest in machinery at reduced prices. The company’s nationwide branch network also assures buyers of after-sales support and spare parts availability. As the expo runs until Sunday, ENGSOL’s stand remains a busy learning centre for those ready to move from hand-hoe farming to commercial agriculture.

With 25 years of experience and a strong presence at this landmark 10th Harvest Money Expo, ENGSOL is not just selling machines, it is driving Uganda’s journey toward modern, profitable farming.
