As Muslims in the whole world converged in different Mosques during Eid-Al-Fitr prayers Hundreds of thousands in Kampala have thronged different mosques to pray for peace in Sudan following a weekly deadly war in the capital Khartoum.

Eid-Al-Fitr celebrations marked the end of a 29-day Ramathan month of fasting from dawn to dusk.

A night downpour in different parts of Kampala delayed some mosques to resume business but at exactly 8 am, Muslims were ready for morning prayers.
