Court orders fresh probe into Bobi Wine’s driver shooting

Counsel representing Yasin Kawuma’s widow, Alice Mwesigwa (the applicant), submitted that section 27(a) of the Inquests Act empowers the High Court to order an inquest into a suspected unnatural death. The applicant argued that Kawuma’s death was not natural, but resulted from a violent shooting during the Arua byelection campaigns.
