Bodaboda rider shot dead in Kaabong ambush

A bodaboda rider was shot and killed in an ambush by suspected Dodoth warriors in Kotome parish, Lodiko sub-county, Kaabong district, on November 8, 2025, at around 6:40 pm.
According to Mike Longole, Police Spokesperson for Mt Moroto/ASTU, the unidentified rider was attacked while riding a motorcycle registration number KMGB 552C along the Lodiko–Kotome road.
ASTU personnel from the Lodiko detach rushed to the scene, recovered the motorcycle, and conveyed the body to Kaabong General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
“The motive for the murder is not yet known, but investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the attackers,” Longole said.
