Besigye allegedly planned to circulate fake money to destabilise economy — American

Wilson testified that Besigye told them his network included people who could introduce the counterfeit money into Uganda’s financial system through banks in an effort to destabilise the economy. The witness gave his testimony under the guidance of Chief State Attorney Richard Birivumbuka and the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Thomas Jatiko.
