Army Spokesperson Brig. Gen Felix Kulaigye said Gen. Kainerugaba is well positioned to execute the task entrusted to him by the Head of State given the fact that he successfully supervised and executed several military missions in the recent past.

The Uganda People's Defense Forces (UPDF) has welcomed the appointment of first son Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba as the new Commander of the Defense Forces (CDF).
