Are you eating yourself to an early grave at that food outlet?

The Kampala Capital City Authority says only 2,300 restaurants in Kampala are inspected and licensed as of 2025, accounting for 59%. The other 41% are not and pose a risk to customers.

In several parts of Kampala, some restaurant owners cook food in polyethylene bags, exposing consumers to hazardous chemicals, meanwhile, houseflies can spread bacteria.
