Mukono-based gospel artiste and music producer Titus Kuteesa has said it's time for Ugandan gospel artistes to break through to the international level.
Speaking to his fans during his Ndi Mulokole concert that took place at Lugogo Hockey grounds on Saturday, May 11, Kuteesa noted that Uganda has many talented gospel and inspirational musicians, but they don't have managers that can help them reach the international level.
He thanked individuals, churches and corporate organisations that supported his show.
"This support is a sign that gospel music is loved and we have the potential to become international artistes," Kuteesa said.
He also thanked mainstream media houses for publicising and advertising the show and called upon organisers of gospel music events to advertise with mainstream media houses if they want there shows to attract non Christians.
Kuteesa expressed gratitude to Cinderella Sanyu, the president of the Uganda Musicians Association, for coming to support his concert.
Several artistes such as Coopy Bly, Levixone and Exodus performed at the event.
