Miss Uganda 2025/26, Elle Trivia Muhoza, turned the page on a deeply personal chapter of her life with the launch of her book, SPO!LER Alert - You Survived, at a classy ceremony held at Mestil Hotel in Kampala on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
The event, which brought together government officials, former beauty queens, creatives, sponsors, media personalities and close friends, also served as Muhoza's send-off ahead of her appearance at the Miss World pageant in Vietnam.
Among the notable guests were celebrated Ugandan singer Maurice Kirya and Prince David Wasajja.
Far from being a conventional beauty pageant celebration, the evening was presented as a "healing gala" and centred on recovery and personal growth.
At the heart of the evening was Muhoza's book launch, SPO!LER Alert - You Survived, whose central message is captured in its subtitle, "You owe it to yourself to heal fast."

The publication draws from Muhoza's personal experiences, exploring themes of trauma, healing, resilience and self-discovery. Through her story, she seeks to encourage readers who may be navigating difficult seasons in their own lives to confront their experiences and find a path towards healing.
Her reign as Miss Uganda has placed her in the public eye, but the publication gives readers an opportunity to look beyond the glamour of pageantry and into the experiences that have shaped the woman wearing the crown.
The launch also marked an important moment in her Miss World journey as she was officially flagged off to represent Uganda on the international stage.
Muhoza is set to represent Uganda at the Miss World pageant in Vietnam, where she will compete against contestants from around the world.
The national send-off brought together people who have supported her journey, including former queens, partners and members of the creative community.
