With songs like Anjagala, he was the perfect tonic for Valentines Day when he hit the stage at 9:30, smartly dressed in black and Gold.  His latest song, “True Love” had females swooning and gazing in their dates’ eyes for answers.    There were also performances by Eddy Yawe, whose baritone titillated sections of the crowd. This year, Valentine’s Day fell on Wednesday. Although it was the middle of the week, for those who ventured out, especially lovers, there were a tons of experiences.

At Hotel Africana, talented singer, Derrick Katongole, who trades as Lyto Boss, held an epic show. It was a full house as lovers, especially the musically inclined, were serenaded by his voice.

For one who is vocally talented, one wonders why Lyto Boss, also a song writer, has chosen the latter rather than serenade fans with his voice and thoughtful lyrics.

At the end of the show, the organiser, Zubeda Byantalo, raised a pertinent issue.  She called upon fans to support the reclusive artist.

“Lyto boss is talented but struggling financially. Find it in your hearts to support this immense talent. He needs to find his feet again, ” she implored.
