Feffe Bussi, the rapper known for provocative freestyle sessions, has been accused of theft of audio studio equipment.
Feffe (real name Frank Mukiza) has been accused by Ian Pro (Ian Busingu), a music producer, of theft of his studio equipment from his studio in Makindye. Ian Pro recently reported the theft at Kibuye Police Station in Kampala (SD REF 79/20/09/2024).
Ian Pro claims he lent the equipment to Feffe Bussi before leaving for South Africa to pursue further studies in audio production.

“While I was away, Feffe asked if he could use my studio, reasoning that if it stayed unused for long, the equipment might get damaged. I considered his concern and allowed him to use the studio, which was located in Makindye, Lukuli Nanganda. I sent my wife to give him the studio keys. Feffe started using the studio with his producers. When I returned home and contacted him, he didn’t answer my calls,” says Ian Pro.
Ian Pro says that he eventually broke into the studio, only to find it devoid of the equipment. “The missing items include professional monitor speakers, a digital mixer (Soundcraft brand), a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (3rd Gen), USB Sound Card, an Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" (Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD – MWP52), soundproof foam, and a Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone (AT2020USB-X),” says Ian Pro.
The producer claims he first knew Feffe Bussi in 2018 when the rapper approached him for audio production, which he offered at a free cost.
“I produced many hit songs for him at no cost, including “Romantic”, “Gulu”, “Massape” and “Romeo & Juliet”. We became friends. “I want him to pay me back for the equipment. If he lost it, he should buy replacements,” says Ian Pro.
However, Feffe Bussi refers to the claims as false allegations and a mere shot at fame by Ian Pro. "Ian is lying. He is seeking fame and attention by wrongly using my name and brand. I have never owned a studio in my life, nor do I have one or any plans of owning one. So, where could I have taken the studio equipment he’s claiming?” he said.
