National boxing team captain, Joshua Tukamuhebwa will need two more wins at the ongoing World Olympic Boxing Qualifiers to book his ticket to this year's Paris Olympic Games in France.

This follows his second win in Busto, Arsizio Italy at the first World Olympic Boxing Qualifiers.

Tukamuhebwa defeated Romania's Robert Jitaru Eusebiu by split decision, Thursday to keep his Olympic dream alive.

It is now two in two, two fights, two wins, and two wins away from punching his way to Paris for the Naguru-based East Coast Boxing Club's southpaw sensation.

His first fight in Italy was a third-round stoppage of Guatemala's Edgar Garcia.

Tukamuhebwa who returns to action Saturday will need to repeat his semi-final finish during last year's Africa Olympic Boxing Qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal to seal his ticket to the Olympic Games

All semi-finalists in Italy will qualify directly to the Paris Games.

Uganda fielded four boxers in Italy but only Tukamuhebwa and Welterweight Emily Nakalema who is in action today are still in contention.

The other including flyweight Shafic Mawanda and middleweight Yusuf Nkobeza are already eliminated.
