After just three episodes of the reality show Kampala Crème, Baby Gloria has decided to depart from the show, citing concerns about scripted content and artificiality.

"The show is fake and scripted, that's it," Baby Gloria stated in a Snapchat post on  February 6. The post went to reveal how she was coached to cry in one of the opening episodes, even though the audience was meant to believe that she was crying from beneath her soul.

Baby Gloria's departure has left fans stunned, as they had grown accustomed to her presence on screen.

Following her announcement, social media platforms were abuzz with Gloria’s remarks, while her co-stars responded by accusing her of being hypocritical and dishonest.

Pearl Magic, the broadcasting network responsible for Kampala Crème,  confirmed Gloria’s departure.

In their statement, they recognised her impact on the show since its debut on January 14, 2024, highlighting her unique energy and charisma that have made a lasting impression on the series.

Expressing gratitude for Gloria’s time on the show, Pearl Magic thanked her for sharing her journey with both the production team and the viewers.

Gloria’s exit from Kampala Crème signifies the end of her role and the beginning of a new chapter for the show, and the network extended their sincere appreciation to her for being part of this journey. Margaret Mathore, channel head, conveyed these sentiments.

Despite Gloria's absence, the show, according to the producers, will continue, pledging to provide engaging and entertaining content to its audience.
