Nursery schools to open from 8:00am-12:30pm

In addition, the number of children per class has been capped at 25. The school day for nursery pupils has also been restructured, with learners expected to report at 8:00am and be picked up by 12:30pm. 

Among the major changes is the revision of the teacher-to-learner ratio from 1:40 to a maximum of 1:25. This means each nursery school teacher will now be responsible for no more than 25 learners, down from the previous standard of 40. (New Vision/Files)
