Buganda mourns passing of Kabaka Mutebi' sister, Princess Teyeggala

The passing of Teyeggala, the king's younger sister, was announced Saturday morning by Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.

Teyeggala (RIP) was born in 1966, months after her father fled to exile in the United Kingdom.

MENGO - Princess Diana Balizzamuggale Teyeggala, one of the younger sisters of Kabaka Ronald Mutebi, is dead.

The passing of Teyeggala, the king's younger sister, was announced this morning by Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga.

In a post on social media this morning, he revealed that the Princess had been unwell.
He didn't reveal the ailment, the cause of death, or the place where she was announced dead.

Princess Diana Balizzamuggale Teyeggala is the daughter of Sir Edward Mutesa II and Princess Catherine Karungu from Ankole.

Teyeggala was born in 1966, months after her father fled to exile in the United Kingdom.
