What NSSF Sh6.8 trillion growth means for savers

But if you look at the growth of contributions and the growth of income, even when expenses are taken into account, the fund has done really well,” he said. Ayota said during the year, the fund collected sh2.42 trillion in contributions, up from sh2.13 trillion the previous year, representing an increase of roughly 14%. Benefits paid to members rose from sh1.3 trillion to sh1.5 trillion, an increase of more than 8%.
