MBARARA - The Vision Group Chief Executive Officer, Don Wanyama, has hailed what he termed as a strong partnership between the company and advertisers in the South Western Region, which has become a building block for the company’s successes across all its media platforms.
Wanyama was happy to note that despite Global challenges, the company platforms, including Radio West and TV West, have remained consistent, relevant, and strong, attributing this to the company’s commitment to quality content, professionalism and relationship with advertisers.
With such partnership, he added, the company has managed to run thousands of campaigns, launch new products, influence conversations, and build brands that are household names today.
“Every commercial spot, every sponsored show, every creative partnership has been a building block in our shared journey,” Wanyama said.
Wanyama made the remarks while addressing advertisers who attended the Vision Group South Western advertisers’ engagement held on Friday (Today) at Adit Mall in Mbarara City.
“When these platforms first went on air 26 years ago, our mission was simple: to inform, entertain, and empower our audiences in Southwestern Uganda. We started small, a single signal for radio, a handful of programs, and a team full of passion,” Wanyama stated.
Wanyama was happy to report that Vision Group takes pride in being a market leader not just in numbers, but in trust, stations that advertisers know will deliver value, credibility and reach.
“Today is more than a celebration of time; it’s a celebration of trust. You, our partners, are at the centre of our story. Your confidence has pushed us to innovate. Your feedback has challenged us to improve. Your loyalty has made us who we are," Wanyama told the Vision Group partners.
Wanyama also commended the advertisers in the region for their insights, feedback and ideas, and more so for accepting to place their brands and messages in the care of Vision Group, trusting them to connect them with audiences that matter.
“As we look back on 26 remarkable years, we also look forward to the exciting journey ahead, one where we continue to grow, evolve, and deliver even greater value to you and your audience, “he added.
More projects
During the engagement, Wanyama announced that in the coming months, Vision Group is setting up a state-of-the-art TV studio, equipped with modern production technology to give its clients the visual quality they deserve.
He also reported that the Company is expanding TV reach by onboarding onto Free-to-Air platforms as soon as Signet’s DTH infrastructure is switched on in the Southwestern region, ensuring even more visibility for the companies and communities around the region.
Wanyama said they are also investing in new broadcast equipment to enhance picture and audio quality for both TV and radio stations. He added that they are creating more engaging content spaces, increasing talk show hours and audience interaction segments that offer brands a voice within community conversations.
Vision Group boss also announced that apart from enhancing the outdoor advertising services, the company will develop educational and transformative programs that uplift communities and enable them to grow.
“These initiatives are designed around one thing: you, our advertisers, to ensure your message continues to reach the right audience, in the best way possible. As we embark on this new chapter, we want you to walk with us,” he added.
The meeting was also attended by Vision Group head of marketing, Laurine Tukahirwa, who assured advertisers of continued support and urged them to take advantage of Vision Group products to grow their businesses.
