Uganda’s trade deficit widens—report

During March 2024, Uganda’s merchandise exports increased from $633.0m in February to $634.43m, representing a 0.2% growth rate.

Uganda’s trade deficit with the rest of the world increased by 45.9% to $403.41m (about sh1.532 trillion) in March 2024, up from $276.54m (about sh1.050 trillion) the previous month.
