Uganda among global top 25 outsourcing destinations

Uganda has been ranked among the world’s top 25 outsourcing destinations, ranking 24th globally out of 193 countries in the 2026 Global Outsourcing Talent Index, a development that government officials say highlights the country’s growing competitiveness in the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.

Uganda performed particularly well in labour cost competitiveness, where it ranked 12th globally. The country also maintained strong performance in English proficiency, a key factor that has made it increasingly attractive to international firms seeking outsourcing services.
