MTN trades shares worth sh685m in Tuesday’s session
KAMPALA - MTN Uganda exchanged shares worth about sh685m at the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) on Tuesday. The telecom counter traded 1,533,554 shares at sh447.20, according to market data from Crested Capital.
The price eased 0.31% from an open of sh448.61 to close at sh447.20. Buyers were still showing 6,300 shares at sh449 after the close of the session.
Stanbic Holdings traded 301,000 shares at sh112.01, a turnover of about sh33.7m. The price slipped 0.05% from sh112.07. Interest remained firm, with 569,300 shares bid at sh112.
