Jinja terminal to hold Uganda’s fuel reserves

On Wednesday morning, UNOC the first consignment of its fuel imports at Mombasa port in Kenya with the first ship arriving from Jebel-Ali, United Arab Emirates (UAE) with 58,000 metric tonnes of petrol.

Jinja fuel storage facility is expected to hold Uganda’s fuel buffer stocks that are expected to cover any supply gap that could be caused by any interference in the supply chains Kenya and Tanzania.
