YIWU - The three-day 2026 China-Africa Trade Commodity Exhibition opened on November 6 at the Yiwu International Expo Centre in China, bringing together 186 companies from 15 countries to showcase products and explore business opportunities between China and Africa.
According to a statement from the China Yiwu Media Centre, the exhibition is being held alongside the 2026 China Yiwu Stationery Fair (Autumn) under the theme, “China-Africa Partnership for Win-Win Trade and Economic Cooperation.”
The exhibition occupies 10,000 square metres with 400 standard booths, divided into three sections: the African Country Pavilion, the Import Zone and the Export Zone.
The African Country Pavilion showcases the national images of Ethiopia, Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and other African countries.
The Import Zone features 37 companies operating 65 booths, displaying products from 14 African countries, including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Mali, Mauritius, Togo, Nigeria, Benin and Sudan.
The products on display include coffee, wine, tea, handicrafts, accessories, skincare products and shea butter.

The Export Zone has 149 companies occupying 335 booths, showcasing household and daily necessities, stationery, cultural and creative products, arts and crafts gifts, and beauty products.
The China Yiwu Media Centre said the exhibition was designed around consumer demand in African markets, with particular attention to essential commodities that are popular, in high demand, and frequently purchased.
It added that Yiwu's established foreign trade ecosystem, supported by warehousing, logistics, customs clearance and cross-border settlement services, provides businesses with channels to display products, receive orders and arrange shipments.
A dedicated business matchmaking area has also been established to connect exhibitors with African buyers.
Under the arrangement, buyers bring their orders while exhibitors present product samples and catalogues, allowing small and medium-sized enterprises to identify potential business partners and explore opportunities in African markets.
The organisers said the initiative seeks to promote more regular trade and economic cooperation between China and Africa through targeted business connections.
The exhibition runs for three days, with business professionals from China, Africa and other parts of the world invited to participate.
